Hi there! I’m Valda, and I’m that person you’ll find with a book wherever there’s a quiet spot and decent lighting, which means under a shady tree, on my veranda, or tucked away in some corner where the world cannot interrupt whatever story that I may be lost in at that particular time.

I started this blog because I have way too many thoughts about books and nowhere else to put them. When you spend most of your time reading, you end up with a lot of opinions that need somewhere to go.

What you’ll find here are my thoughts on everything I’m devouring. Be it the page-turners that kept me up until 3 AM, the literary fiction that made me question everything, the disappointing sequels that broke my heart, and those hidden gems I stumbled across in the library’s forgotten corners. I just want to share what made me laugh, cry, throw the book across the room, or immediately order the next three books in the series.
